Project Description
"The hands on math material are spectacular! The kids are able to grasp many concepts with the visual representation of hands on manipulatives. Fractions can be so confusing. Fourth grade requires students to compare fractions, oh my this is difficult for kids. With the aid of fraction flip books, the students have a greater understanding. It has been such a tremendous asset to have hands on visuals for student to understand math concepts. As an educator, it has been very empowering to hand children the tools they need to solve their problems, and remind them to use the hands-on materials and their own abilities to work through their struggles. It creates in each student a vital skill of independent learning, confidence, and determination."
